Areas with their own page
Each of these four suburbs has a page that covers its housing and the drainage questions that tend to come up.
Merrow
A suburb on the edge of the North Downs, with homes from several eras. Read about drainage service Merrow.
Burpham
Detached houses, gullies and yard drains. Read about drainage service Burpham.
Stoughton
Older streets next to a redeveloped site. Read about drainage service Stoughton.
Park Barn
An estate where responsibility for a drain is the first question. Read about drainage service Park Barn.
Other parts of Guildford we are serving
Bellfields, Onslow Village and Westborough are also served, and so is Guildford town centre. They don't have a page of their own yet. We would rather add a page when there is something genuinely useful to say about an area than copy the same text with a different name on it.
If your road isn't listed, ring and ask. Nearby areas can often be included.
When you ring, it helps to have your postcode and a short description ready: which fixtures are affected, how long it has been happening, and whether anything is showing outside. That is enough to start working out which service fits.
Services available in every area
The same four services are available throughout the area: drain unblocking, blocked drains, drain cleaning and drain surveys. Not sure which? The drainage service Guildford home page has a simple guide, and you can ring to talk it through.
Each area page explains the housing and the kind of drainage questions that tend to come up there, including who is likely to be responsible for a pipe. Those pages are written to help you decide what to do next, whether or not you end up calling.
Questions about where we work
Which areas of Guildford do you serve?
We are serving Guildford and nearby areas including Merrow, Burpham, Bellfields, Onslow Village, Park Barn, Stoughton and Westborough.
Why don't Bellfields and Westborough have their own pages?
A page should say something useful about an area, not just repeat another with a new name. When there is real local information to add, more pages can follow.
What if my area isn't listed?
Ring and ask. Places close to those listed can often be included.
